When you exercise you are breathing heavily, inhaling more oxygen than if you weren't exercising. Blood works as a transporter delivering the inhaled oxygen around your body, feeding your muscles oxygen in order for them to keep working. Also, wastes, such as carbon dioxide, are being produced at a faster rate and needs to be removed more quickly by the flow of blood. In order for both processes to be efficient, the heart needs to pump faster to increase the flow of blood around the body.

Your muscles need more oxygen, as they use this to make energy, so in order to get more oxygen round your body your heart needs to pump faster.

when you doing an exercise your body parts will be needing more blood circulation than normal flow. because of this while working out, heart beats faster to pump more blood to parts.

Does exercise change the pulse?

Yes, the increase in cardio resprotory speeds up the heart rate and pulse.

Why when we speed up our heart pulse rate increase?

The pulse is a measure of the heart rate.

How does exercise affect heart rate and pulse rate?

Yes, excercise does affect your heart rate. It makes your heart faster of the oxygen and things.

Why does muscles working hard during exercise increase your pulse rate?

Your heart rate will increase when you exercise for a prolonged period or when you increase your effort. An increase in intensity might occur if you are riding your bike and you encounter a hill or a stiff headwind. Your heart rate will increase as you put more effort into maintaining your speed.

What happens to a person's pulse rate if their heart muscle becomes stronger does the pulse become quicker?

No. The resting pulse becomes slower. (Note, the top pulse rate for everybody is about the same ... the "exercise tolerance" comes from how much you can increase from your resting rate.)

Will exercise have an effect on your pulse rate?

== exercise effect the pulse because if you walk it doesnt effect it but if you run it does effect it because the heart is pumping faster so the blood is moving faster = Actually, pulse rate can change with walking, too, just not as much. Pulse rate is lowest when the body is resting, and increases as the level of muscle activity increases, since increases in activity make higher demands for oxygen for the muscles to work. The pulse rate quickens in response to the body's need for more oxygen (and for more disposal of the carbon dioxide formed in the muscles and other tissues from combining oxygen and the carbons in glucose or fat as they are burned for fuel, thus providing energy for the muscles to use to contract). SImply standing up is more exercise than resting, and although we don't usually think of simply standing up as exercise, the pulse rate will increase slightly. Further increases in exercise level, such as walking, will increase the pulse rate further, even though we might not sense the increase in pulse rate until periods of heavier exercise such as running.

An increase in heart rate will most likely result in?

an increase in pulse rate

How much will pulse rate increase after exercise?

i hav no idea

What factors would increase pulse rate?

Exercise, and heat.

If your pulse rate increase your heart rate does what?

Your pulse rate is your heart rate.

Why does pulse rate increase during aerobic exercise?

Your heart has to beat faster to circulate your blood which carries oxygen to cells. During exercise your cells need more oxygen (the ones being used at least) so your heart must provide them with more oxygen, hence the faster heart rate.

Can yelling increase your heart rate?

Increases the rate
