Check the following.......
1. Bad a/c - heater controller...
2. Bad a/c - heater control doors...
3. Bad, cracked or broken vacuum lines...
The gear shift knob on a ford Ranger is pressed on tightly. A heat gun or hair dryer can be used to heat the knob to help remove it.
The knob marked "fan" controls the fan speed. The knob marked "heat" controls the amount of heat the fan will blow out.
Storeroom lock
If the security light stays on in a 1993 Z28, there could be a problem with the settings for the lights. Sometimes the adjustment knob for the interior lights gets bumped. There is also a possibility that the probe that is in the door hinge area has been broken off.

Someone could purchase a glass door knob from a hardware type store. For example whoever wants a glass knob could visit Home Depot for one, or Lowe's.
it could be either coarse or fine knob. coarse knob is used to focus image at higher magnification, while fine knob is used to focus on lower magnification
If you could give a little more info on this issue it would be easier to pin point. But from what i get is that the blower motor needs to be replaced
The knob could stick due to dust or something being spilled around it. The knob should be able to be removed, and the area under it cleaned.
Depending on the year. My 98 Exp EB has the knob on the dash to change the temp in the front and the console on the roof has another knob to change temps in the back
If door knob is a metal then it is conductor if not like wood then insulator.
First try removing the knob and see if it is cracked. Same thing happened to me and I had to replace the knob. Temporary fix by switching with fan speed knob. It doesn't seem to need as much pressure turning as the temperature knob.
