I've had this happen to me as well. I had a 1998 ZJ Laredo 2x4. I found the problem was the PCM. After I replaced the PCM, no more problem.
look it up
no it wont fit cause ive just changed a 1990 jeep Cherokee transmission it had a 1998 jeep grand Cherokee transmission in it it broke the fly wheel and burned the torque converter up
yes it will bolt up but not real sure if the wireing is the same
Wrangler up to 2006, Cherokee up to 2000. Grand Cherokee up to 2004.
It depends on the year, but equal years should match up, the cherokee used the same bolt pattern as the YJ and TJ jeep Wranglers
It will bolt up, but it will not shift. 1997 is electric, 1994 is hydraulic
Up streem or Down streem. The up streem is right after the exhaust manifold attaches to the down pipe, and the down streem one is after the cat and before the muffler.
yes
The up to 2000 Cherokee is a SUV. The 2014 is more of a crossover.
Block and heads are the same, manifolds may be different.
Lift up the backseat.
When ever you look up a car part, it shows the part's name followed by a year range. The year range means they used the exact same part in any Jeep Cherokee made between that time period. When I looked up "1993 Jeep Cherokee rotor", the year range is 92 - 95; therefore, a 93 and a 96 are different in at least one way.
