Your Jeep Wrangler is not getting the proper amount of gas if it stalling when you come to a complete stop. This could be your fuel pump, fuel lines, or the intakes.
A loose wire can cause a radio to stop working in a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. A blown fuse is another cause and can be fixed by replacing it.
Hi, I had that same problem on my 93 2.5 wrangler. Check your vacuum hose connected to your map sensor. Mine had 2 holes in it which caused erratic idle and stalling after fixing ran fine.
The last 4.0L was in the 2006 Wrangler.
To my knowledge you can buy half doors for the wrangler. Check auto suppliers on line
The last YJ body Wrangler was a 1995 model.
2006 was the last inline model.
Fuse or windshield wiper motor.
check for a crack in the distributor cap
Check your Throttle control sensor... mine does the same thing Check your Throttle position sensor... mine does the same thing
heavy stop and go trafic with over half a tank of gas will get it every time
Would wanna check your timing belt. My mother has a Jeep Wrangler and everytime she would come to a stop sign, or light where she had to let of the gas, the jeep would die. A friend looked at it and realized that the timing belt had a bunch of chuncks missing from it. Once it was replaced she hasn't had a problem since.
I found three. One with the radio, one with the wipers, and one with the stop lamp relay.
