Probably because you haven't told your mail program that WikiAnswers is a trusted site.
If you're receiving spam and it's entering your inbox then make that particular e-mail as spam and normally all e-mail systems send every e-mail from that particaular address to the spam box and after that you can simply delete it.
It depends on what kind of email you have and if you use a program (Webmail, Outlook, Hotmail, etc.)
Depending what e-mail server you use. If there's a way you could look up ALL mail including the spam. There is sometimes a button you can click on that says. Not spam click back to inbox. G-mail and yahoo and some others usually have a way you can get back what you clicked into spam so you can save it without the next mail coming from that person going into the spam box automatically. I only know this because I use G-mail and it has that option.
A common spam mail solution is to enter certain phrases to be run through a filter before they appear in your main email box. You can also switch to a different service such as Gmail or Yahoo that have built in spam protection.
Go to keyword spam settings, or better yet on the bottom of your email box there is a blue underlined word that says spam filtering. Either way it sets up a spam folder for all unwanted mail. To get there just click on spam folder at bottom of mailbox.
Spam blocking programmes are usually included in your e-mail settings where spam is filtered into a separate box. Separate programs can also be found at software retailers. However, no program can completely block spam.
Input your user name and e-mail into the box in the top left and press sign up. It is that simple.
Sorry to tell you this but if you received a spam (Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail) there is no "easy" way to get the spam stopped. Generally if you reply (unsubscribe) this confirms that your e-mail address is "live" and just gets your e-mail address sold to other spammers. Spam has to be dealt with one at a time. Sorry, it isn't easy to stop the spam. The "Internet" (the collective non-profit and profit entities of the network) is trying to fix this problem but it is taking time. The "easiest" way to stop getting spam is to change your e-mail address and only give your e-mail address to people you absolutely trust, and to NEVER allow the e-mail address to be posted to a web site or posted ANYWHERE on the internet. If your e-mail address shows up on a search engine, then the spammers can find your e-mail address also. Be careful about giving your e-mail address to companies that purport to be against spam. There are businesses that make a good living filtering out spam both on a personal and corporate level. I would suggest that if you really don't want to deal with spam that you get an e-mail address from one of these services (Please note I am not recommending this service, just using it as an example). Do a search: http://www.google.com/search?qspam+blocking+software Be aware that no spam blocking software (as of yet) is perfect and you may get "false positives". An e-mail from a friend may be detected as spam and may get deleted as spam or moved to the spam box. If you are required to give a "legal" e-mail address to a company you don't know or trust, you could go to http://mail.com or a similar site and set up a free account.
When you are viewing your trashcan folder in your WikiAnswers email, you'll see there are boxes along every email. Next to the "delete forever" button there is a similar box but is not attached to an email. Click this to select all the mail. If you mean view all your emails even in the trash, click the folder under '5 more' 'all mail'. This will show you all your mail.
Try to save the e-mail addresses of the legit e-mailers in your address book, hopefully this will prevent them being sent to the junk mail box. Try this, should work. You could also try lowering the strength of your spam control.
Go to the green mail box (always by banker or Auction house)Select the 1st optionHit the "Read" button at the bottom of the box that comes upRead your mail
The email just goes into the spam box.
