ONCE IT WARMS UP THE RADIATOR FAN KICKS ON TO COOL IT. MY GUESS IS THE FAN IS HITTING ON SOMETHING. RUN THE CAR IN YOUR DRIVEWAY WITH THE HOOD OPEN AND WAIT TILL IT WARMS UP THEN MAYBE YOUI CAN SEE WHATS HAPPENING. ONCE IT WARMS UP THE RADIATOR FAN KICKS ON TO COOL IT. have a 89 Chevy astro van starts good till warms up the start to chock and then stalls
when engine is first started cold it will have a eratic idle till it warms up some this is my experiance
Have your so called mechanic check your EGR system. Have your so called mechanic check your EGR system. If that's okay, have them check your catalytic converter. These cars are known to stop up if you've got a lot of miles on it.
Probably your transmission fluid level is low. You should check it, the add some.
The type of surface that warms up the slowest is the "ocean" surface.

cheapest thing to check change the plugs if that doesnt help try plug wires
air idle controller solonoid very simple i just unlugged mine and it idles like its carburated till it warms up
it is idling high to warm up.it is dying because the choke is shutting off before it has warmed up
