yes, you can be a pet for Sims 2 pets for ps2 first switch to a animal then go to the pause screen then go to options and press freewill and turn it off then turn off the pause menu and you can control your pets and make them do what ever you please

The Sims 2 pets is an expansion pack. To use it you must have the original version of the game. The Sims 2. The Sims 2 Pets does not contain the files needed to run the game. It only is the files to add Pets to your Sims 2 game. unfortunately you are going to have to purchase the Sims 2 also before you can ply your game. if you want to get it cheaper, I would suggest buying it off of eBay You could even borrow it from a friend and install it, because once you install it, you can install Sims 2 Pets and just run the game off the Pets CD.You don't really have to buy the game. Just find some way to get it installed on your computer.Hope this helps!

Yes you can unless you buy Sims pets with it. If it is too expensive for you, I recommend on looking at used ones on craigslist. I got my Sims game and ambitions deluxe pack for only $20.00 off craigslist and it works fabulous!
