The mushroom has gills, cap andstalk but dog do not have all this
Mermaid Man:The name itself seems to indicate that they aren't human, but are mermaids. The reason they don't have a tail as a fish, could be based on many ideas over mermaids/mermen, with the thought that mermaids only had gills and could walk on land for an amount of time (this being based around children being kidnapped near water side areas). They are based on Batman and Robin hood, from what most can decipher ,and in many episodes of Batman, he can use tiny apparatus to breathe under water, so that could be a theory. Also, in one episode of Spongebob we find out that it's the suits that give them their powers, so it might be the suits.
Trees use lungs to breath, whereas humans use gills.
Sharks do lack real bones except for in there jaw. Without jaw bones sharks would not be able to survive because they would not be able to eat.
a fish tail and gills
A mermaid has gills on either side of her neck, or her sides. The gills allow her to hold her breath for a long time.
It's called "makeup". Claire Holt is an actress who portrayed a mermaid in a TV show. She is not really a mermaid, because mermaids do not really exist; she does not have gills, they were added for the show by a makeup/special effects team.
It adapts because of its tail it has the ability to swim adn its gills for underwater breathing!!
You can't turn into a mermaid. Nothing will change you it is not physically possible. Think about it how could a person be part fish and part human and still live? They can't. Mermaids are not real and are only in myth. Get a costume if you want to be a mermaid.
Fish gills look like little cuts in the skin. Sometimes they stretch so far out.
gills craving for salt wanting to be in or touch water legs crossing orsticking togetherAND feeling sick head aches ECT......
You can't breathe under water but you can hold your breath for an extremely long time and you can also see under water.
Mermaids could be drowned maliciously. Drowning is just suffocation in water. In stories, mermaids breathe air like us, or water like a fish. Fish gills take dissolved oxygen from water, so if there is no oxygen in the water, the fish suffocate. It seems likely then that putting a mermaid in a sealed tank with no vapour exchange to oxygenate the water would cause the mermaid to use up all the available oxygen in the water. She would then suffocate, or drown.
They have gills that absorb moisture and oxygen. They have gills that absorb moisture and oxygen.
Dolphins are mammals, not fish. And mammals breathe with lungs, not gills.
