He doesn't he just thought Graystripe would come eventually.
Graystripe did come. Yea, but only after Brambleclaw convinced him He still believed that Graystripe was still alive (in which he was). And he didn't want to break the Warrior Code. But Starclan finally sent Leafpool a dream saying that Brambleclaw shall become deputy. yea, I kinda know
Nobody knows yet because Firestar has not died yet but this answer will be changed as soon as Firestar dies and Brambleclaw, ahem, Bramblestar chooses the new deputy. (squirrelflight, which in my apinion is a horrible choice!)
Because Brambleclaw deserves to be a leader.
Obviously it would be Brambleclaw, he is deputy. A lot of people are guessing Lionblaze to be Brambleclaw's deputy. Other people think that Brambleclaw won't want to be leader and the clan would choose lionblaze to be leader.
Brambleclaw kills his half-brother, Hawkfrost, in self-defense during a battle. Hawkfrost had betrayed ThunderClan and threatened Brambleclaw's life, forcing Brambleclaw to kill him to protect himself and his clanmates.
Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight's fight is over. Their love for each other has become stronger than before, but Brambleclaw must choose once and for all if he will follow in his father's pawsteps or reject the power that Tigerstar promises and concentrate on being a loyal warrior.Tigerstar continues to visit Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw in their dreams and their sister Tawnypelt appears in one of the dreams also, firmly rejecting Tigerstar's offer of power. In addition, it seems that something has happened in the Tribe of Rushing Water. Stormfur and Brook go back to RiverClan, but Hawkfrost has them thrown out of the Clan. After taunting Stormfur on to attack him, which he does, Leopardstar exiles Stormfur for his disregard for the warrior code. Brook leaves RiverClan with him. Brambleclaw, who witnessed the exile, takes Stormfur and Brook back to ThunderClan, and Firestar lets them stay as long as they want. Firestar doesn't get all the support he wants from his Clanmates, but having Graystripe's son in the Clan, Firestar is not as devastated about his capture. After moons of waiting and persuasion from Brambleclaw and Sandstorm, Firestar admits to himself that Graystripe isn't going to return. When the Clan begins to challenge the weary leader for accepting cats that do not belong to ThunderClan, Firestar appoints a new deputy, Brambleclaw. The decision is first met with objection, because Brambleclaw had never mentored an apprentice. The matter is soon cleared when Firestar declares that his new deputy will mentor Berrykit when he comes of age. Leafpool finds herself struggling between grief and betrayal, because of Cinderpelt's death for she has not seen Cinderpelt in the ranks of StarClan. During a visit to the Moonpool, Spottedleaf comes to Leafpool in a dream and shows her that Cinderpelt has been reborn in the form of Cinderkit, a fluffy gray she-kit (one of Sorreltail's four kits).Leafpool also realizes that after overhearing a fight between Mothwing and Hawkfrost, and then receiving a vision from Spottedleaf, that Hawkfrost planted the moth's wing outside of Mudfur's den back in the forest, the sign which made Mothwing a Medicine Cat apprentice, so he could use Mothwing to become leader.Fox traps have also been discovered in the forest, and cats are warned to avoid and also spring them if they see any. Two known victims of the traps are Berrykit, who loses part of his tail as a result of getting it caught, and Firestar. When Firestar is found caught in a fox trap, Hawkfrost urges Brambleclaw to kill the ThunderClan leader, as it is part of Tigerstar's plan for Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw to take over the four Clans. After struggling with his desires, Brambleclaw refuses to kill Firestar and he frees him from the trap. Because Brambleclaw has betrayed their father's plans, Hawkfrost attacks Brambleclaw, but Brambleclaw kills Hawkfrost with the trap's sharp stick. Before he dies, Hawkfrost claims to Brambleclaw that he had help with his plan and that their fight is not over. This leads Brambleclaw to think that there is a traitor in ThunderClan, though nothing is revealed when the book ends. After Hawkfrost's death, Brambleclaw expects to be exiled by Firestar, for the latter had just seen his deputy on the verge of killing him. Firestar, however, praises Brambleclaw for what he did. With that, the prophecy "Before there is peace, blood will spill blood and the lake will run red" is fulfilled. Leafpool realizes this when she and Squirrelflight reach Firestar and Brambleclaw, after following Ashfur's fear-scent to the lake. Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost are half-brothers, thus they share the same blood and are kin, and as he stumbles down to the lake, blood pours from Hawkfrost's neck, making the waves red.
He won't live forever, but we are not sure whether his death will be recorded in the Warriors series. There have been rumors that he will die sometime in the fourth series, and that he will not succeed Firestar as leader, but we can not know for sure if these rumors are true.how can brambleclaw die! He is too awesome! I wanted him to become bramblestar!:(
At first he listened to his father because he wanted to be a good leader. (Key word: Good) He thought his father was a good leader and wanted to follow his paw steps. At the end he refused and killed Hawkfrost to save Firestar. He didn't really want to kill Hawkfrost, but to save Firestar he did.
Yes
firestar has only the nine lives given to him. he will die eventually. people are saying that he will be reincarnated like Cinderpelt but the only reason she was, was because Tigerclaw, or Tigerstar, ruined her chances of being a Warrior and her dream of being one.
Yes she loves him
I believe that Brambleclaw will forgive Squirrleflight. But not for a long while, because of the whole " they're not your kits " thing. If you're wondering why I think this, it's because I believe Brambleclaw still loves Squirrelflight deep don. I think he's just afraid to say so. That's my opinon. Brambleclaw lover17703, I agree, because even when he was in a big fight with her about Hawkfrost he always loved her. But stupid Ashfur got in the way but she never loved him so that doesnt matter. But what I heard is that Brambleclaw forgives Squirrelflight on his death bed which would make it very dramatic and tradgic, and I dont know why, but somehow I dont want that to happen. I want them to get back together before one of them dies, so they can have kits of their own. I really do believe Brambleclaw still loves Squirrelflight and no doubt that Squirrelflight loves him. But it might be a while. I just finished Eclipse but I know all this stuff because of Spoilers. And I am the ultimate #1 Brambleclaw fan dont deny it, you have no idea.
Well, since she is Firestar's daughter, she will probably never die because Firestar is supposed to be "awe inspiring" (which he's NOT!) she may be alive until Erin hunter stops writing the warrior series books. ALSO!... When Firestar helped to rebuild SkyClan the cat Sky said something to him... "your kins kin shall hold the power of stars in their paws" now let me break that down... kin is kids... so ur kids kids basically or ur grandkids so if squirrelflight were to have kits they would hold the powers of stars in their paws (like leafpool's kits)
