I do not believe so. I tried using a headphones splitter with a mic, and just regular headphones. it did not work. also the mic just by itself didnt work. Although, you can listen to music on your ipod! i have a turtle beach x1 earforce, and 2g ipod touch. it might be different with other ipod/ headphone models! :D

Yes, infact i just did it. All you do is plug the green wire into the head phone port on laptop and plug the USB wire into the USB port. Also if u want to use mic. plug the pink wire into the mic. port.
