Hi ,
Guinea pig's really like their houses, it's a place that they love and that makes them feel safe. They do tend to come out when people are around but sometimes they will come out during the day when no one is there.
no
It is believed that the guinea pig originated in the South American Andes.
Not all guinea pigs hide in their houses/huts. They only stay in their all the time because they are scared. The first couple days you have have your guinea pig they will always hide. The more you hold your guinea pig the closer it gets to you and when the are in their cage they will come out and not be scared.
there was a time they were called "guinaia pig"
A hutch
tell her that the guinea pig cant fit and needs a bigger and better house
Since the guinea pig is a mammal, they come out the same way as humans, except guinea pigs are born with their fur, teeth and are already able to see and walk.
that's kinda like my guinea pig, he likes hiding in all his play tunnels and log house, But that's just because your around and hes nervous. go inside the house and look out of the window and your guinea pig will eventually come out

It all depends on the guinea pigs behavior and who the person is. A well socialized guinea pig is more likely to come to it's owner while a shy and under socialized guinea pig would be less likely to come.
The name "guinea pig" is believed to have originated from the fact that these small animals were originally brought to Europe from the South American country of Guinea. The term "pig" in the name is likely due to the squealing sounds they make that are similar to a pig.
No. Guinea pigs have very fine skeletons and rabbits have very strong legs. A kick from a rabbit can easily break a guinea pig's bones.
