First off, make sure that your connection is nice and tight, also make sure that your display cable is connected to your monitor on the correct input. If you are using a laptop or if you have a computer that has images on your function keys (ie: F1, F2...) find the function key that has a square bordered by two lines. Hold that key for a few seconds, if nothing happens, hold down the Fn key and the function key for a few seconds. Also, on the back of your computer, if you have video outputs layed out horizontally and away from the usb ports, use those.
