the oil sending swich in engine block is no good replace it and look at the wire connector. there is 1 wire and in the unused spot they put a pastic dart. take it out if you dont the light may come back on because of a small amount of trapped gasses in connector. Chrysler has a tsb about this problem.
I'm suprised no one said, "Your oil light does not come on because you have the correct amount of oil in your automobile, and your oil pump is in good working condition."
