I have heat in my truck all but the floor. this is a 1998 s-10 Chevy pickup. can you help me find out the reason?
Low coolant, bad thermostat, clogged radiator, bad waterpump, bad headgasket, etc
A buzzing noise at idle that increases with acceleration on a 1995 Chevy 4x4 pickup could be caused by several issues. One common source is a worn or damaged serpentine belt, which can create a buzzing or whining sound as it slips or vibrates. Another possibility is a failing component in the engine, such as a loose heat shield, exhaust leak, or a failing bearing in the alternator or power steering pump. It's advisable to inspect these components to diagnose the issue accurately.
if it doesn't heat your heater core is most likely clogged and if it doesn't blow at all then the blower is messed up.
If your windows fog up you thermostat may not register because you heater coil may be broken.
check the coolant level first, low coolant will cause no heat, always check all fuses just in case
IT should have a 195 degree thermostat in it so the computer will work right And the heat will be hot. THAT IS WHAT THE FACTORY USES
On a 1996 Chevy S10 pickup truck, the starter is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the transmission. It is mounted to the bell housing, typically towards the lower part of the engine. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle and remove any obstacles, such as the exhaust or heat shield, depending on your specific model and configuration.
how do you fix the heat in a 2002 Chevy impala
Most likely you have a vacume leak under the dash.Check for lines off or broken. They will harden and crack with excessive heat, such as in the engine compartment.
