WikiAnswers adds new topics on an almost daily basis. As the amount of questions and answers increases related to a specific topic it is added. There are currentlt 5,280 categories on WikiAnswers.
There are categories in WikiAnswers dedicated to certain topics like anime or sports. However, there is no specific wiki website created by WikiAnswers just for those topics. It would make no sense to do so, and there are already categories existing for those topics.
Depending on what time of day it is, the questions on WikiAnswers tend to assume all sorts of topics and categories. WikiAnswers has questions in just about every topic imaginable. Click "browse" at the top of the page to look at the different topics on the site. You can link to this site from many places in Answers.com... and there are all sorts of topics there, so some people assume when writing that we know where they linked from, or that we are somehow personally involved with the topic they linked from.
Quantum mechanics questions are generally in the Quantum Mechanics or Physics categories. Unfortunately, though, people mis-categorize lots of their questions. To access these topics, click on the categories in blue, just under your question.
WikiAnswers can improve by having more topics, and more alternate wordings. Users should choose the most specific topic for their question.

WikiAnswers is a question and answer site, not a search engine. Therefore you need to ask a specific question, not type in key words and "plus".
The hashtag is generally used with trending topics. This is so people can search for a specific term using the hashtag. For example, using #wikianswers in tweets would allow people to more easily find tweets that mention WikiAnswers.
Specific means exact, precise, and to the point, and giving a pinpoint accurate description. Example: WikiAnswers is on the internet at the web address 'wiki.answers.com'. This is a specific example because it cites the exact location and address of WikiAnswers.General is a broad description and is vague. Example:WikiAnswers is on the internet. This example shows that WikiAnswers is on the internet, but is a general explanation of where to find WikiAnswers.
To post in the Wiki forums, all you have to do is go to the blue column to the left and at the bottom, you can click on the "Community forum" section. Once there, you will see a number of threads containing different categories regarding announcements and topics. If you click on one, you will be taken to the specific thread. At the bottom of each page, there is an option that says "Postreply," which will allow you to create your own post.
