Sometimes it may take some minutes before a submitted question or answer shows up. This may depend on the IP from where you connect, traffic load, system load or other technical reasons. The delay will never exceed a few minutes.

How do you ask a question or answer once you have your profile?

Once your profile is set up, you can ask any question, or answer any question! To ask, simply type in your question in the white question bar at the top of your screen, and click "GO." If that question has already been asked, it will show up in the results. If it hasn't, you can submit it and wait for your answer! To answer a question, click on "Answer It" or "Improve answer," and type in your answer! Now that your profile is set up, your user name will show as the contributor of your question or answer, and your contributions will show on your profile page by clicking on "Contributions."

Why doesnt the user who asked a question show in wikianswers?

Everything that occurs to a question or it's answer is recorded in the history section of that question. This can be accessed by clicking on Question History which is located in the blue box to the left. There are exceptions such as when a question is merged into another question.

Hi there,Honesty Box works like this. If you:*Asked a question > somebody replies > you reply = You are visible*Somebody asked a question > you reply = You are anonymous*Somebody asked a question > you reply > he/she replies = He/she is visibleYour identity will only be revealed if you accepted a bribe offer to reveal your identity. Are the people that show up as your friends in facebook the people who recently have looked at your profile?

I have heard that the people who are on your profile have looked at it. It makes sense because it doesnt change every time you go on your profile. It will randomly change some of the people.

Where do you find the answer to a question you ask here?

Go to your profile - click the 'see all' link at the bottom of the 'recent contributions' box. Once there - use the filter to find 'questions (asked)' - then simply select the relevant question from the list. That will show your question(s) - and any answer that's been given.

How do you find out who asked a certain question on Answers.com?

Who Asked the Question? To find out who asked a specific question, do the following:At the top of the blue box on the left-hand side of the page, you will see "Question tools" (under the "Hi [username]" when they are logged in).Click on "Question history." This will give you information such as who asked the question; who made an edit to the question or the answer; who added to the answer; who answered the question; or if an answer was reverted by a supervisor. (Note that the username of each person modifying the question or answer is given as a link to that person's profile.)If you scroll down to the earliest entry of the "Question history," it will show whether the person asked the question anew, or split it off from a different question. What is a split?A "split" means that the question was originally asked as an alternate, and then split off to be a primary question. If that is the case - and you want to see which user added the alternate in the first place - you must go to the question that it was split from and look through the alternates.
