"Why doesn't your car start and you just bought a new battery?"
Unfortunately, without further information, a truly accurate answer cannot be given. However, some possible answers:
If it has no power, make sure the battery terminals are clean, and there are no popped fuses.
If it has power, but won't crank over, it could be a bad starter, solenoid, bad connection or a dreaded computer issue.
If you hear absolutely nothing when you turn key, it could be your ignition switch is defective, or TR sensor needs to be adjusted.
sounds like a flat battery
Check the wire from the battery to the body and from the battery/body to the engine block.
Most often it is the starter and not the ignition.
Perhaps you bought a defective battery, perhaps it just needs to be charged, perhaps you bought one with too low of a CCA rating, perhaps you need to replace the terminals, perhaps you just didn't tighten down the terminals enough.
It can start with just one battery.
Can you unhook the battery for a few minutes and reset the system?
It depends why it doesn't work. If it is just flat, then usually you can. If the battery has been damaged then maybe not.
change distributor cap, plugs, wires, rotor. i just had the same problem with my 88, its about a $60 fix
Just connect the battery to the motorcycle battery cables with jumper cables and then start it.
Stupidity hurts. Learn to do some diagnosis or take it to a mechanic.
She doesnt know how she just did
Check the battery cables or starter.
