The speakers in a 2005 GMC Yukon are 6 3/4" speakers. If you wish to replace them, 6 1/2" speakers will also work, provided you get an adapter kit.
Sounds like receiver ok, check the speakers/fuses.
make sure the speakers werent stolen first off then try new wires from the stereo to a speaker that you are sure works. if that speaker doesnt work take your stereo back

Replace it with a new one. Replacement can be bought from your carrier or 3rd party shops online and in physical stores.
I bought a pair of replacement speakers from the Crutchfield catalog. It was a breeze to replace them since the speaker grills pop right off allowing for easy access. Remember that the tweeters are up top so you only need bass. You can put it combined speakers but the tweeters will not work. They don't carry the infinity radio parts anymore, you can still get the Dodge Chrysler speakers from oemautosound
Try a jump if other items have juice, if that doesn't work, check batt with voltmeter. If batt good, then check starter.
One of the connections is loose or one wire is touching two terminals at the same time. You have a short of some kind in the connection to the speakers. Reconnect all the speakers. If that doesnt work try new speaker cables.
Any set of good speakers will work great with an Ipod.It's only a source.If your speakers work well with your stereo they'll be great with an Ipod.
