Educators and Parents have argued the issue of grades since the mid-1960s. Back then, it was thought that children who performed less well might feel too discouraged if they received C grades. So schools went to an Excellent-Satisfactory-Less than Satisfactory system. But students who scored lower were still unhappy to see these. Plus, the switch was confusing for everyone. At least with an A-B-C-D-F grade system, students knew measurable benchmarks, for example, 96-100 equals an A.
I doubt the debate will end anytime soon. But students do need some method of evaluation. Personally, I like that A to F system.
Because grade dont matter.(in my oppinion)
