he didn't care what anyone thought of him, and he also committed adultery with many other women and disregarded what anyone told him to do.
Yes. Aphrodite's husband was Hephaestus, but she often had affairs with other gods like Ares.
there was no anger like the other gods beside aphrodite no one liked him
Well aphrodite was married to hephaestus but she was in love with the war god ares. She also had affairs with other gods and mortals.
I can give you general information about it. Sparta believed in the customary greek gods (Jupiter, Ares, Aphrodite, etc.), but their favoured god was Ares due to their highly war-like nature and rigorous military training. They did not wholly disregard the other gods, merely held Ares as their favoured.
Ares was known as the "God of War" to the Greeks. This might count as a nickname. His name was often linked to the other gods when they were about war-like activities.. Early manes or Ares included "Enyalios" Ares might also be referred to as "son of Zeus and Hera"
He was very strong and gods like Pan, Dionysus, Aphrodite, Hermes, and those guys cowered beneath him, he was so strong! The top five most powerful gods and goddesses were: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, and Athena. Did you know that Athena once beat her brother in a war? Also, Ares was one of Aphrodite's boyfriends. She had another one, a mortal called Adonis. She and Persephone fought over him until Ares killed him. Then, Per' and Aphro' shared...
He is the strongest of all gods because we defeat the most strongest gods like Zeus,Ares,Hercules and many other monster. P.S-He could probably rip a bus in half. :-)
Mount Olympus like the rest of the 12 Greek Gods
A lot of times the greek gods weren't friends because they often acted like children.(No offence greek gods and children!) Take Ares, Aphrodite, and Hepheastus, for example: Ares loved Aphrodite, but Aphrodite was married to Hepheastus, but still visited (Basically dated) Ares. Then one day Hepgeastus saw/heard about this and made a tpap. (he was the god of blacksmiths and crafting) He built a golden net with magical powers to hold the most powerful of creatures, and threw it on the love couple when they were at their favorite spot, then he invited the other gods to laugh at them, which they were so very happy to do. Now, do you see what I mean?
Every god other than Aphrodite, his wife, hated Ares.
The Greek God of War and battle and the instigator of violence, a son of Zeus and Hera. Because of his cruel and war-like nature he was despised by all the gods, even his own father disliked him. Ares could be bloody, merciless, fearful and cowardly and possessed no moral attributes. He was, however, unable to withstand the loveliness of Aphrodite, who subsequently became his consort. Ares was of giant stature and had a loud voice, and surpassed the other gods in speed.
In Greek mythology, Ares is the god of war, often associated with violence and conflict. While he does not directly intervene in the lives of mortals like some other gods, his influence can be seen in wars and battles that occur in the mortal world. Some may pray to Ares for strength or victory in times of war.
