As amazing as it sounds...it is a part...a State of the US! And it's citizens enjoy all the same benefits of being so as those in other states.

It's probably true that, as many in Texas seem to feel they shouldn't be restricted and part of the US, many in other areas would be happy to get rid of them, and that attitude of non-American sepratism...and the cost of taking care of so many ignorants.
