we had the same problem...try wiggling the wire with the lights on and then keep moving it around til they stay on...worked for us!!
i dont no
Please check the fuse first. If the fuse is good then the rheostat switch is the next component to test. The rheostat is the dimmer switch you use to control the brightness of the dash lights. It will probably be part of the headlight switch. Best of luck.
If all the dash lights are out then there is two causes for this. The first is all the fuses have blown the other is the relay for the dashboard lights has went out.
there is a light we dont know what it means
4x4 dash lights on a Dodge Durango don't work
check fuse
dude....you dont want to do that...unless you want your dash lights not to work...
turn the knob on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash. It will brighten the dash, and radio lights by turning it to the right and it will dim the lights by turning it to the left.
you have a blown fuse, look in your owners manual and it will show you the fuses location.
Order a replacement Toyota 4-runner....!!!
Start with new fuses...
Usually a fuse. when the fuse blows the dash lights AND tail lights dont work. If your tail lights work and dash lights dont, check bulbs, if all blown at once you may have a shorting problem. If bulbs are good you may have a bad connection. Tracing wires is a big job. Get yourself a good quality test light.
