Blue whales appear to be a blue color when they are fully submerged, but in the sunlight they appear to be more of a bluish-gray. Blue whales have a streamlined body and are between 70 and 80 feet long when mature, making them the largest creature on Earth.
Transparent like liquid water. However if viewed from a bird's eye view the lakes would appear orange for the same reason that oceans on Earth appear blue, because it refelects the color of the atmosphere.
