Because people dont really care about animals. But some people seriously love animals and want to keep them to be our pets. We need to save them and persuade the government to have a law that says, "It is now against the law to abandon there pets." It is like you haveing a family and then you they all of a sudden throw you out of the house and make you homeless because they dont like you or you just dont work out with them. Wouldn't you feel sad if soemone did that to do? Think before you do things like this and think, "Wait! What if someone did that to me!" Think before you speak or do something.
