It could be because of any of the below reasons:
- The question is incomplete
- The question does not have enough information to be answered
- The question is placed in the wrong category
Also please understand that questions are answered by volunteers (from all over the world). We answer them when we have the time and feel in the mood to do so. Various contributors answer questions on this site. Not all are very knowledgeable and they usually give the silly and funny answers. Sometimes the questions are very silly, too and are very hard to answer with a strait face. Help out if you know answers as it will help us to try to answer them all.

WikiAnswers is a website in progress still, as many questions are asked but a third or less get answered. WikiAnswers thrives on contributors to answer questions and make the site better. These volunteer contributors put hundreds of hours in for WikiAnswers to answer questions to improve the overall quality of the site. If you know the answer to a question, answer it. The answers do not automatically pop up here and appear from thin air - they have to get here some how. This answer misses the point. Or at least many of us cannot find tne answers. Questions that have answers do not show the answers. Why not?

Answers does not pay those of us who answer questions; we are volunteers. However, answers does sometimes send out gifts, as a gesture of appreciation.

Questions on Wiki answers are answered on a volunteer basis. There are more people asking questions than answering them.
