No amputated body part is too small to be salvaged. Debris or other contaminating material should be removed, but the tissue should not be allowed to get wet. An amputated body part should be wrapped in bandages, towels.
I have read it was legs. There were piles of legs.
they didn't they just died. and later on they amputated the body part that was infected.
No you can have any part of the body amputated at any timr during your life. The question is though why should you remove a useful healthy part of the body?
sorry, i dont think so. If we have an arm amputated does it grow back?. no so the answer is no
it is called whatever it is. If it is an amputation below the knee, then the body part is called the lower leg. Its just that simple. It is what it is.
Temporarily, yes. Most commonly, digits (fingers) are amputated and they can survive off the body and off ice for two hours. After two hours, the body part is considerex dead and cannot be reconnected.
the fingers where the most comon because there where always getting cuts and blisters that got infected.
