Why don't you get answers to some of your questions even simple ones?

This site is a wiki, which means that the questions and answers are written by people... any people at all.
More people come to this site and ask questions than come to answer questions... because of that, there is going to be an imbalance between the number of questions that get asked, and the number of questions that get answered. A lot more questions get asked than get answered.
Now, of course, we try to fix that through merging questions that are just being asked in a sightly different way, and many people answer a lot more questions than they ask. However, it still isn't going to balance out. Some questions aren't going to get answered.
Now of course, more questions get answered that are written well and that are easy to understand... but if you are already doing that, maybe try writing during the day in the US when more people are on, so more people will have a chance to see your question? Try posting it on Facebook?
Or, you could jump in and start answering some questions that you know or could look up. Maybe if more people do that, then more questions will get answers.

Why does this site still post questions even if they dont have answers?
It's not that the site asks the questions, its the contributors who use WikiAnswers. They choose to ask their question, waiting for an answer.

Simple, but not simple - answer a lot of questions accurately. Go to the "Unanswered Questions" section, and start with an area of personal expertise. Correct, helpful answers, even short ones, can earn you trust points.

Believe me, Staff and Supervisors always appreciate intelligent and well thought out questions! We appreciate intelligent and well thought out answers, too! However, we also know that to the asker, even a simple question and simple answer can be very important for that person.

If you write your questions carefully, you have a greater chance of getting useful answers.
Why can't WikiAnswers answer simple questions and explain your answers?
They are not always simple to us and many don't even make sense at all. We have to interpret the question as best we can understand it. Also some people are sophisticated and others are not.
Why don't you change name of site to no answers?
Read the questions. Most are such that there is no answer. Many are not even questions.

Even if you weren't serious with your question, I will answer it with this example. Even odd questions deserve answers.
