In Breaking Dawn once she turns into a Vampire Edward and all of the Cullen family think her 'special power' is that she has self control through her bloodlust. But when The Cullen's begin to round up people to fight against the Volturi, Eleazar figures out that she has the power of being a 'shield'. It's so powerful that even when she was in her human form it still had the same effect (that Vampire's couldn't read her mind)
