If you mean by main group, vertebrates, because they are invertebrates. But if by main, you mean greatest by number then whether you count them as one celled animals or invertebrates they are much more numerous. They are certainly important to us. Scientists are saying that more than half of the cells in our body are bacteria. If this is so then my little one celled guys are very important to me.
What do you mean by main group??
An euglena belongs to the Kingdom Protista. Protists are a diverse group of eukaryotic organisms that do not fit into the plant, animal, or fungi kingdoms. Euglenas are single-celled organisms that can be both autotrophic and heterotrophic.

Animal kingdom
A lizard is reptile in the animal kingdom.
the plant kingdom
if it's in any group
The most basal group in the animal kingdom is said to be ctenophora. They live in marine waters and are commonly referred to as comb jellies.
yes euglena is a living thing i recently did a project on it myself and found this out..... it is nor plant or animal its belongs to a group called patista or sumthin like dat. it can feed its self like a plant but moves like a animal. i hope this has helped you from ella xxxx
Euglena is a single-celled organism that is neither strictly an animal nor a plant. It belongs to a group called protozoa, which are considered to be protists. Euglena can undergo photosynthesis like plants but can also feed on organic matter like animals.
A caterpillar is an insect which falls into the group of arthropods in the animal kingdom.
1) Living things with only one cell are called unicellular organisms. 2) Examples of unicellular organisms are yeast, Amoeba, Paramecium, Euglena and Chlamydomonas. They are also known as unicellular microorganisms because of their tiny size. 3) Amoeba and Paramecium belong to the animal kingdom. 4) Chlamydomonas, Euglena and Pleurococcus belong to the plant kingdom.
