Oil natural gas
Geological energy is energy that appears normally in nature. Some examples are the energy released during: an earthquake; a lightning strike; tornado; or even ocean waves. Some of the most familiar geologic energy resources include: petroleum (oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids), coal, gas hydrates, geothermal resources, oil shale, oil sands, uranium, and heavy oil and natural bitumen.
Crude oil and natural gas.
Coal is a solid, Natural gas is a gas and Oil is a liquid.
This is because natural gas and oil deposits were formed together
um no oil is an oil and gas is well of course a gas therfore gas powers things and oil well........ no
its because of gas
No. The cofferdam did not work. The mix of cold sea water, and gas formed hydrates which restricted flow of fluids, and added to the bouyancy of the dam. As stated at BP's press conference in Houston, they will try this again, but with a much smaller dome ( termed "top hat"), described as about the size of a barrel cut in two, and will inject methanol to break up hydrates. The top hat would still have a lot of gas, but they're hoping less water. It would seem that two lines are needed, one for the injection of methanol and a second for the production of oil, water and gas. The top hat will not be able to recover as much oil.
Oil and natural gas
well dipends if your talking about natural oil or bad oil i know that natural oil is made out of broken down parts of dead animals deand plants and others i will get back with you once i know what bad oil is made of alright bye
Oil natural gas
Yes, they are all organic molecules. In addition to larger molecules that make up oil, such as hexane, heptane and octane (along with their functional oxygen and nitrogen as well as some halogen containing counterparts) gas is formed. Gas is mainly comprised of very small organic molecules like methane, ethane, and propane. All of the aforementioned molecules come to be from approximately the same process thus you usually find oil and gas together.
Coal, Natural Gas and Oil
Generally we refer to oil from a well as crude oil, but we referred to gas as produced gas. Most oil wells produce some gas. Natural gas from a well may require processing to remove contaminants and water. Natural gas from a well may require processing to remove contaminants and water.
