glass does not have a crystalline structure but it is still a solid. There are a few solids that don't have crystalline structure such as coal, a block of wood and a brick. Solids that do not have a crystalline structure are known as amorphous solids.

Strictly speaking, a glass cannot be a crystal, or vice verse Glass is amorphous - it has no structure beyond a few molecules. Crystals have a very ordered molecular structure. By careful heating or cooling of the mixture of compounds that make any particular "glass", the ratio of glass and crystal phases in the resulting mixture can be controlled. The name crystal as applied to decorative, particularly cut, glass is a historical artefact and has no real meaning beyond that it tends to be applied to high quality lead glass objects. (High lead content glass tends to have a high index of refraction, meaning it sparkles like a gemstone when properly cut... this is probably the origin of the term.)

yes, glass is amorphous solid because the crystal structure of the glass is random nature, it means that the atom in the glass is randomly arranged. so it is not a crystalline solid , if it is crystalline the arrangement of atoms in the glass is systematic.

The internal structure of glass is intermediate between free-flowing liquid and

crystalline solid. Glass does not have a definite melting point, but softens when heated. Glass breaks into irregular, jagged pieces when shattered.
