Say shrimp were greatly endangered. That would cause the shrimps prey's population to grow because its not being eaten. It would also cause the shrimps predator to die out because it has no food. Then the shrimp's predator's predator would start to out to because it has no food. So what started out as just the shrimp is now a whole mess of species that are endangered or even extinct!
pandas are the closest to extinction there is only 300 of them left.
everybody in the whole world dies
The beaver was totally wiped out in some areas, and the population as a whole came close to extinction.
that an entire species going extinct is bad for the whole ecosystem
There is a whole food chain that is affected when a predator is removed. Tigers eat other animals, and those animals eat mostly plants. So we could have more herbivores and fewer plants, and possibly this will then result in a lot of hungry herbivores.
It left Seattle with the Monorail, Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, and improved community.
"He who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealings with men. We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals." -Immanuel Kant It is often said that if someone will hurt an animal they will also hurt a human, so our society is often judged by how we treat our animals. The better a country treats its animals the better it is normally looked upon.
Because they could report on issues where there was no community cohesion. This could promote being against community cohesion. Also, some papers have separate sections like "Asian Image" when the whole paper itself should be for everyone.
Humans destroy massive amounts of natural habitat every day, and they kill millions of organisms. Extinction is also a natural process in the environment - we just make it a whole lot worse and faster.
Extinction is caused by both. If there is a natural disaster, it can wipe out whole species. For example, climate changes such as the end of the ice age. There were some mammals that evolved into animals we know today and there were some that could not evolve fast enough and did not survive. Man can cause extinction by over-hunting animals or destroying their habitats. For example, the Dodo was a flightless, defensive bird which stood no chance when man colonised their island.
