I can't give a definitive answer, but I don't believe it's been removed from all films. I've seen many movies that have the text "The End" to conclude the movie. Kung Foo Panda had it haha.
Deleted photos on a Windows 7 Personal Computer end up in the Recycle Bin. As long as the Recycle Bin has not been emptied any deleted photos can be restored.
