PS3 is a bigger retail market and the PS2 games have limited capability at running more complex software. The PC market is the same for PCs not meeting minimum requirements to run the games. You just got to understand that even though they still make PS2s the design is over 10 years old and in electronics that's a lifetime. Would you want a 10 year old cell phone or PC. If you have a 10 or 11 year old TV you will really like what you can get for the same amount of inflation adjusted money spent when you buy a new one.
