Why have you discontinued the Ball Tip Brush Rollers for women's hair curlers?

I have used the Ball Tip Brush Rollers for a long time, but they are no longer available at the stores. They consist of a wire roller encased in a nylon webbing and it has a brush inserted in the middle. I do not use the brush (I take it out) and I use the wire roller with the nylon webbing to curl my hair.
I have had many other women ask me where they could buy the wire rollers with the nylon webbing so they can curl their hair, but they cannot find the product in the stores any longer. They do not like the foam rollers nor the plastic rollers, because the foam squashes when they use it, and the plastic rollers are too hard when you sleep in them.

How do you do Curling of male hairs?
The same way you would do a womans with a curling iron , rollers or hot curlers. I'm a male with long hair and use hot curlers everyday in the morning. I heat up my rollers it takes about 2 minutes and section my hair in small sections and then select the size roller i need either small mediun or large and the roll my hair on the curler and secure it with a clip. My set has 30 rollers and i use them all as i have alot of hair. It takes about 5 minutes to use all the rollers then i make the bed and get dressed and then take my curlers out and style my hair and spray it. My curls last all day . I also get roller sets at the salon which means I get my hair shampooed the rolled with magnetic(plastic) rollers the go under the dryer for 30 minutes. This type of set gives you tight curls that hold for a few days hopefully. Another way I do my hair is on sat is after i shower roll my hair on brush rollers then let my hair dry on its own which takes a few hours but i ususlly clean my house while waiting for my hair to dry, this set does now require heat on my hair which can some times be damaging to my hair.. Curing irons alos work well and depend on what type of curl you want in your hair. Hope this help Steve

From your description, you do have some wave to your hair. This is a good thing, so we'll work from there. If you want volume, the key is to lift your hair from the roots. At the top of your head use some large rollers. The sponge type is good for sleeping, so this might be your best bet...unless you want to get used to sleeping on juice cans like we did in the 1960's! Get the largest size available, and pull your hair forward toward your face to put the curlers in. Start at the crown of your head and put the first roller in. This will give you a very nice volume without using any products. Water and those curlers will do the trick. For the sides and back, large loopy pin curls will make the ends behave without frizz. Or you can get smaller rollers to put in. I prefer the pin curls because it's easier to sleep on. When you get up in the morning, take the curlers out, and brush, brush, brush! Your hair will relax a bit by the brushing, but the volume won't leave. If it's too poofy, shower without a shower cap...the steam will limp your hair out a bit. Experiment on how often you have to wash and redo your hair. You do not have to wash it every day! Daily washing will strip your hair of essential oils and will look dry. Your hair brush is your best friend. Buy a bit of cheese cloth to wrap your brush in. That cheese cloth will absorb excess oil on the second day if you brush well.
