Turn signals just quit working- have replaced flasher- checked all bulbs and fuses, checked all obvious wires, cleaned grounds, replaced the turn signal switch (that was an adventure). At a loss- any help out there? Hazards work fine- all other lights work fine- turn signals dead

CK FOR LOSE GROUNDS OR MAYBE A SHORT A module controls electrical accessories that should be died when the car is off. Those items include the radio and power windows. The module in that era of Firebird was later redesigned. Replace that module with the newer version.

Check to see that its getting spark at the plugs and if it isn't, the ignition module inside the distriburetor probably went bad. Replace it and you will be back in business.
