Oh but they did:

  • In the middle ages bodies of plague victims were dumped into enemy's water wells. Also the bodies of plague, smallpox and other disease victims were thrown over city walls with trebuchets and catapults.
  • In American colonial times blankets used by smallpox victims were often given to Indians.
