Yes, but only slightly - it's a lot closer to the middle than most people think. About two-thirds of the heart are on the left side, and one-third on the right side. Of course, there is the odd person who has their heart on their right side.

because other wise oxygen rich blood would mix with carbn dioxide blood would mix which would make your heart murmer which you could get a heart attack from and maybe kill you
