I also heard a high-pitched noise on the 22" LCD HP display my brother is using. I'm guessing there may a fan inside that causes the noise.
Hello, it can get to be a serious problem! if you are not hearing noise while turning yet? it would be a perfect time to replace the boot! as you might be at the right time to still save the bearings inside the shaft!! good luck and be safe!!
