yes
Look at it this way if you have an element of say Hydrogen it is just hydrogen, now add the element of oxygen to make a compound lets say two elements of hydrogen and we have a compound. H2O, or better know as water.
They usually make up just about everything in the world.
everything in the universe is made up of either elements or compounds.
water is a compound
you are made up of compounds
every food you eat is made up of compounds
your PC is made up of compounds
;)
The ratio tells you how much of each component is in the compound. Example of a solution ratio would be; 1:2 acetonitrile: water. This means 1 part of acetonitrile to every 2 parts water.
Well you are made of them, and I want to know what I am made of!
because it is
ionic compound
I
so it goes KABOOM
A compound is two or more elements that are chemically combined and is homogeneous. An example of a compound/homogeneous is Sodium Chloride (NaCl.) A mixture is a heterogeneous, which is the opposite of a compound but otherwise I do not know much about mixtures.
Compounds are made of one or more elements. Carbon monoxide has both carbon and oxygen, making it a compound.
There are more compounds than elements
because crude oil is made out of two differents elements
so it goes KABOOM
you know when you get all the elements joind together
glass
i do not know >:O
A compound is a molecule made of two or more different compounds. Therefore, if there are two elements listed in the name of a substance, it is a compound.
This is impossible. In order to find this you must know the elements in the compound

Carbohydrates :)
A chemical formula shows what elements a compound contains, and the ratio of the atoms or ions of the elements in the compound.
A compound is composed of two or more elements. A compound of only two elements is a binary compound.
dont know and dont care
Sucrose is not an element itself, but it is made up of a mixture of elements. Sucrose is actually a compound and is, what we know, table sugar.
