Why in general brothers behave as if they are not interested to 'pay attention to' or 'care about' their sisters and least concerned with her and sisters has to initiate to get their attention?

Brothers try to act tough, but there softies underneath... I have three brothers :)
They realy do care about us, and sometimes but into our business, but they really do love us
