Anne Frank created one of the best written, most insightful and specific records of how the Holocaust touched a typical family in the Netherlands by the act of writing her diary. It's value as a historical document of the Holocaust is very high, let alone it's value as pure literature.

"Diary of a Young Girl" is available in any decent sized bookstore, or they can order it for you quickly. A big bookstore might also have Muller's book, or you may have to go online to find it, but I think it is still in print.
