It is the day when many stores start their Christmas sales and many people go on a Christmas shopping binge to take advantage of the lower prices. As a result, stores experience a large increase in profits that, in many cases, makes up for the generally low-profit levels of sales throughout the year and makes possible a profit for the year. This moves the store from operating at a loss to operating at a profit...from red ink to black ink on the accounting books. That's why it's called "black friday."
Black Friday is not important to everyone. It is only important if you want to find some sales. Personally I don't go anywhere on Black Friday because of all the traffic.
More people are getting money because they are spending it all on Christmas shopping
It didn't, Black friday has never been on Thanksgiving, always the day after. And it does not harm the economy. If anything it stimulates it with more business sales, resulting in more money for the company, which result in money to hire new workers. Which again stimulates and strengthen the Economy. Also to add People always wonder why it's called black Friday It's because in business reports your money is either in the red or in the black. Red meaning your money is low and black meaning high. Due to price droppage of items all stores that have a black Friday sale will usually operate in the black for that day
