Since the british are very independent the australians need people who are independent to instruct them so they can be a better country
Because Australia had to help their allies which were Britain. And at that time Britain were very weak in the War against Germany so Australia helped them out.
There is no queen of Australia. The Queen who you might call Australia's Queen is more of Britain's queen. So, I reckon it was spent in Britain, unnoticed.
Australia was one of Britain's colonies. The first white people to settle in Astralia were British convicts in 1788 or so.
All colonies had their own form of government, so yes. Maryland was a self governing colony from Great Britain as well as the colonies as a whole.
Australia was originally ruled by Britain so that one is easy. Britain and US are on friendly terms, so that probably adds to why we have good terms with Australia. While Australia is now formally independent of Britain, Britain has always been close to Australia because it is the mother country and established the nation in the 1700s. The US as a world superpower is necessary to maintain as a friend because of the position it takes on the world stage in economic and defence terms.
i think its from britain and then america followed them so yeah :)
Plymouth was so important because it was located in Massachusetts and it was the first to have a governing and survive. (=
its not
Australia joined World War 2 when Britain and Germany went to war. As an associate of Britain, Australia's protection was linked to the welfare of Britain - should it fall, then Australia would have been left open to invasion from Japan. The independent countries in the British Commonwealth - Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa - declared war very shortly after Britain in 1939.They were allied with Great Britain( also know as the Commonwealth) and were forced to join the war when it broke out. Japan also attacked Australia for it's rare materials( iron, coal, etc.) which Japan had few of.Answer Also I
Australia was claimed by England in 1770 and initially settled in 1788. So pick a date.
Australia was part of the British Empire, so when Britain declared war on Germany, it also meant that Australia and all of Britain's colonies had also declared war on Germany.
Britain and Australia form an alliance because if Australia thought that if they support Britain and protect Britain from ever being invaded, Australia would receive the same respect back. Britain is also allianced with the United States, so Australia formed with them too for more protection. They would also be able to do more trades ( Trade Minerals and different types of products, etc.) In a more simpler term, it's basically: "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours". Hope this helped xo
