Why is Chell from portal 2 and 1 never talking to GLaDOS?

Valve wanted to make the player feel like Chell. If they made her talk, it wouldn't feel like you were actually her.

Why did Wheatley betray chell?
Wheatley never betrayed Chell, it was GLaDOS Black Box Quick Save feature that was in her body and has her hatred for Chell in it. It's in her body, not in the potato.

However, it is later revealed that GLaDOS,or at least part of her, was Cave Johnson's secretary at Aperture Science, named Caroline, who was uploaded to the main computer.
