Conflict did not exist between the medieval mind and Christianity as most people then understood Christianity. The Christianity of the medieval period followed the thinking of St Augustine. A few Protestants existed like Occum, Abelard, and Wycliffe, but most were Roman Catholics.

Beginning in Roman times people started to bury the dead when Christianity took hold, so by the middle ages burial was the preferred method. At times during plague events when there were thousands of dead some bodies were burned, but generally they were buried. This was true on battle fields as well.

Ater jesus died the romans forrbid christianity. Until the emporer created theholy roman empire and people started to notice the true religion which is christianity. That completely struck the begining of medieval times and the massive conversion of christianity from palestine to ireland. The only non christian europiens were the pagan vikings and the muslim moors. That is one of the reasons I love medieval times. It got so big that even the vikings converted to christianity. And I doubt the moors would have given up allah if they weren't destroyed first. Now every country has at least 150 christians.
Christianity is mostly and American and European religion, so typically English. But Christianity is a religion that is practiced throughout the world, so there is no "language."
