Disneyland is one of the coolest places on earth. It brings lots of tax money into California with the tourist visitors who not only stay at Disneyland, but all the motels and hotels around it. This gives jobs to local people. The restaurants also gain with the tourist and again provide tax dollars and jobs. Many other entertainment type venues are nearby and they also gain from people going to Disneyland. This makes the business very important to California and also the movie industry because they own many sectors for movies and music. Artists benefit from the Disney corporation with record deals and perform at Disneyland as well as selling their art in stores located in the park. The corporation is so powerful in California that when they put in California Adventure in the old parking lot the state taxpayers paid for and built the New on/off ramps into the new parking area Disneyland needed.
