The true answer to this question in Professor Layton and the Last Time Travel. Here it is. Professor Layton and a girl named... I believe it was "Claire"... were sort of going out and Don Paolo was IN LOVE with her. He got mad and became his enemy. And here is a small spoiler. That girl is the ONLY reason he wears his hat all the time...! You can look up to different videos on YouTube. A: Layton Takes His Hat Off and B: Professor Layton and the Last Time Travel Video 19/38.

Hope This Helped!

EDIT: In Professor Layton and The Unwound/Lost Future, Layton tells Luke that Claire was his girlfriend before but passed away in an explosion that was caused bu Dimitri Allen (Dr.Alain Stanhgun) and Bill Hawks. In a cut scene in the game, Claire gives Layton a letter and tells him in short that she loves him by giving him a kiss on the cheek. During That moment although they don't realize this, Don Paolo was EAVESDROPPING on the two and ran straight into the river saying" Layton!!! You will pay for this Someday!!! While Crying)

What is the history of Gucci Plus?

see http://www.nvo.com/louisvuitton/newsarticles/article.nhtml?uid=10008 I've copied it (the info found on the above link) as follows: THE "STORY" OF GUCCI PLUS This was emailed to us not long ago. Subject: Gucci "Plus" satchel... Good day, I recently saw the Gucci "Plus" satchel in your member pages and thought I should supply you with some information about this line. When Dr. Gucci passed away the surviving brothers fought for control of the Gucci empire. Paolo was not able to gain control of Gucci, and he started his own line called Gucci "Plus". This line was only distributed in the States for a very very short time as he was sued by the house of Gucci for copy right infringement. The house of Gucci fought him based on the use of the name Gucci, and the design elements used in Paolos products. The case was won initially in Italy, and was further pursued through various world-wide courts effectively putting Paolo out of business. The house of Gucci does not recognize Gucci "Plus" as a Gucci product...they consider it to be fake. Paolo does still do some limited design work...primarily small leather items and means furnishings under the label "Paolo Gucci" He is only allowed by the terms of the suit to use his full name on products, and is not allowed to copy designs from the house of Gucci. I wanted you to be aware of this, lest you come up with a disgruntled buyer of this product. Best Regards,
