What Muslims do on Friday or Jumu’ah? Is Jumma Namaz Farz? Friday is called Juma in Arabic. Friday is very special for all Muslims as because a Special Congregational Salah (Prayer) named Salat Al-Jumu’ah are offered on Friday. Muslims men require to attend Jumu’ah Prayer as long as they are not travelling, it’s Obligatory or Farz. Jumu’ah means “gathering of People”, on Friday Muslims gather in the Masajid (Place of Worship for Muslims) at just after noon and instead of regular mid-day Jahur Salah, Salat Al-Jumu’ah are offered. On the day of Jumu’ah, Muslims take care of cleaning their bodies, wearing clean and best clothes, grooming following Sunnah (as Prophet Muhammad S.W.S did and directed), giving Charity, reading Quraan, remembering Almighty Allah more, sending Darood or Blessings to Prophet Muhammad S.W.S etc.
Iqamah is the second call to Islamic prayer (Salah), which signifies the imminent start of the prayer. It is recited in a manner similar to the adhan (the initial call to prayer) but includes a slight variation in wording and is delivered in a more measured tone. Typically, the iqamah is called just before congregational prayer begins, signaling to worshippers to line up for the prayer. The iqamah serves to prepare the congregation for worship and is an important aspect of Islamic prayer rituals.
Updated AnswerNo, the praying (or Salah or Namaz) of feast (or id) is not compulsory (is not fard or farz). The feast praying (or Namaz of Id or Salat of Id) is an assured Sunnah (if you practice it you got rewarded by God but if you don't practice it you are not penalized).Answeryes namaz (salah in Arabic) is farz upon every believer, and not only Eid salah, all salahs are fard upon every believer from the age of 7, and if the boy or girl doesnot pray until the age of 12 then u have to be a bit strict to tell them to pray salah. because the first question in the grave will be asked about salah, and salah is the way to success, salah gives you peace of heart, salah is very important brother, never miss salah, ant not only eid salah, not only jumma salah, all salah are important. any more questions, add me on facebook paki_souljah@hotmail.com

Using a high-quality prayer mat has significantly improved my prayer experience. Before, I didn’t realise how much a mat could affect my concentration and physical comfort. Now, I feel more grounded and supported with each movement, especially during sujood and sitting positions. The gentle padding reduces pressure on my joints, allowing me to pray longer without discomfort. It also gives me a dedicated space that I associate only with prayer, helping me prepare mentally and spiritually every time I unroll it. This routine has strengthened my consistency in performing salah and has made my prayer time more peaceful, focused, and meaningful.
Egyptians pray five times a day, like any other ordinary Muslim.
