Why is saints row 3 an 18?

The Board may also intervene with portrayals of sexual violence which might, e.g. eroticise or endorse sexual assault. basically if a game could be seen to promote violence ect. which grand theft auto obvisally does. It is rated 18 so that if somone committed a crime and said it was because of somthing they seen on a game or done on a game. They are old enough to make the right decision not to do it. Unlike a 5 year old beating up a hooker on GTA then going out and doing the same thing in the street. (maybe not at 5) but you get where im coming from.

Well, there is a lot of violence, as well as language, religious death/assassination, all around conspiracy and overall adult themes. A great game no doubt, but not one a parent normally prefers their child to play. I don't find it particularly horrible, but some might.

It is full of guns, indiscriminate violence, nudity, swearing, and all that other fun stuff. It's not a game for children.
